The Last Word Twist Competition is back for 2012

Following on from a hugely successful launch at the end of 2011 Chartreuse have brought back the ‘Who Will Have The Last Word’ competition for 2012.

Visiting numerous cities and countless bars across the country Chartreuse really are bringing this competition to you.

The idea is simple enough, Chartreuse will be visiting a different city each month and encouraging bars to come up with their own unique twist on the iconic Last Word cocktail (for more information on this classic click here). The three best will be picked and so begins a month long campaign to get their cocktail down the throats of willing punters in their venues.

Sian with her entry, we are assuming that it's perspective not a giant cocktail

The mastermind behind this competition is the Chartreuse UK Brand Ambassador Matthew Dakers, he had this to say about it:

‘The idea came from “The Final Ward”, which was created by Phil Ward, his drink is a simple twist on The Last Word yet is creative enough to stand as a separate classic. We at Chartreuse are looking for that next outstanding twist on such an iconic classic.’

The winning creation each month will receive the full range of Chartreuse for their bar as well as being filmed making their creation which will then appear on this very site (just like this). Each winner will also be shortlisted at the end of the year for the chance to go on the infamous ski trip in January.

February see’s the big green machine in Aberdeen where the following three bars are battling it out for top spot. Below are the recipes for you to have a look at and give a try yourselves if you fancy.
