World Gin Day and Drinkup.London Announce Four Day Festival

World Gin Day is about to become World Gin Almost a Week.

BarLifeUK News - World Gin Day and Drinkup.London Announce Four Day FestivalWorld Gin Day founder Emma Stokes, and Drinkup.London, organisers of London Cocktail Week, have announced a partnership that will launch a four day festival dedicated to the celebration and promotion of gin to London’s drinkers.

Taking place over 7-10th June 2018, World Gin Day London (WGDL) will follow a similar format to London Cocktail Week, with a festival pass giving visitors access to £6 gin cocktails at a slew of participating bars, alongside pop-up events, Gin Tours, and bespoke branded events.

In 2017 World Gin Day trended globally on Twitter, with over 50,000 Tweets using the #WorldGinDay hashtag sent. Combining such a level of social media interest with Drinkup.London’s massive roster of London cocktail enthusiasts would suggest that WGDL be busy.

Bars and brands wishing to get involved should email hello@drinkup.london

World Gin Day organiser Emma Stokes, also known as Gin Monkey, says “I’m incredibly excited to be working with the team at DrinkUp who will bring their many years of experience and provide a tried and tested platform to promote World Gin Day to a wider audience. It was a partnership that immediately made sense. London’s my home and I can’t wait for gin fans to take part in this brilliant festival, showcasing the best bars and brands across the city.”
