If you have spent any time scrolling Instagram over the past few months, you will have come across photos of happy and sweaty industry folk taking part in The Blend’s ‘Kickology’ training program, which saw industry veteran Remy Savage join forces with World Champion Kickboxer Arnold Oborotov and Beam Suntory’s The Blend team to create a transformative 12 week training program designed specifically for the hospitality community.
Bar folk who attended the free Kickology sessions learned to get fit by way of kickboxing training, and naturally now that the program is coming to an end, it’s time to see some of that (friendly) combat skill and new-found fitness in action at the Kickology final event which takes place on Wednesday 27th September, in Hackney Wick.
The Kickology final event fight card will see industry characters Rémy Savage, Josh Black, Desiree de Almeida and Louana Carron tapping gloves, along with pro fighters Nadine Scott and Joana Paris who will fight for a WKO British Title.
As you would expect, all this will be happening against a backdrop of music, entertainment, DJs, and cocktails. It promises to be a really fun night for dedicated fight fans and lovers of a good night out alike. And, pleasingly, The Blend have set aside 5 free tickets for BarLifeUK readers (normally £21.98).
