The Nikka Perfect Serve Competition is offering a UK bartender the chance of a trip to Japan to learn from the Masters of the Japanese Art of Bartending.
As we discovered when we attended a recent Nikka Whisky session they are celebrating their 80th Anniversary this year and to mark it are offering a hell of a prize to one lucky bartender.
The prize not only see’s the winner experiencing the Japanese bar scene first hand and meeting some of the biggest bartending names there in the process but also visiting the two Nikka Whisky distilleries to get a unique look at how this superb spirit is made.
Entry couldn’t be simpler. Nikka are inviting you to enter a cocktail honouring the heritage of the whisky and to help them celebrate their 80th anniversary. Simply come up with your cocktail (including at least 30ml of either Nikka Coffey Grain or Nikka Coffey Malt) follow the entry link and the top 10 entries will be invited to compete in the 2014 UK Nikka Perfect Serve Heat on May 13th in London.
From there the winner will head to Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Madagascar to attend the European final. The winner of which will be rewarded with the trip to Japan.
So if you win the UK then European finals you’ll get two island escapes for your troubles!
