Maverick Drinks are launching FEW Spirits’ first ever UK cocktail competition with a trip to Chicago up for grabs.
FEW Bourbon & Rye have long been bartender favourites and the hand crafted brands are now asking bartenders to share their craft with them.
The 3 day prize will see you visiting the FEW Distillery in Evanston, Chicago and meet with the founder Paul Hletko. You will also head to world-renowned fine dining restaurant Longman & Eagle for a slap up dinner (provided a table can be bagged), as well as a night out at legendary live music venue Delilah’s. You’ll also have plenty of time to explore the Windy City and no doubt grab a deep pan pizza for your lunch.
To give yourself a chance to get on this amazing trip FEW are asking you to show your pioneering spirit and create a FEW cocktail to showcase either (or both) their Bourbon or Rye. They want to know how you have been inspired to take a different approach, craft something yourself, to break from the mould.
The final will be held in London in January (travel and accommodation costs will be covered) and will be judged by Maverick Drinks, FEW and BarLifeUK.
To enter your bar will be required to stock FEW bourbon or rye for the month of November. You will also be required to showcase your entered cocktail (including a minimum of 35ml of FEW bourbon or rye) on your menu or a special menu for November.
You will need to:
- Get your entry in by the end of October with 10 points being up for grabs for the originality, creativity and brand fit of your drink.
- List your cocktail in your bar (and stock the brand) for the whole of November.
- There will be up to 5 bonus points for likes, comments & shares on social media using #ForTheFew @FewSpirits
- During November mystery shoppers will visit the top performing bars with 10 points being awarded for presentation and taste.
- The top 5 will then be invited to London in January to compete where a final 20 points will be available from the judging panel.
