Win £3K With Jägermeister’s On-Line Comp

Bartender’s inspiration and passion haven’t disappeared just because they’re stuck at home so why should the competitions that celebrate those traits?

Last year the Meister Hunter comp was one of the highlights for BarLifeUK, the imagination of the bartenders was fantastic and we can’t wait to see what you bring this year with the new look format designed to support to industry during shitty times.

Last years top 3

If the thought of being able to exercise your creative muscles wasn’t enough to get you excited then the £5K prize pool undoubtably will be – 1st place £3K, 2nd £1.5K and 3rd £500.

The concept is pleasingly simple, allowing you to let your creative juices shine:

  • The drink must contain 35ml of Jägermeister, Jägermeister Cold Brew Coffee or Manifest.

Yep that’s it.

The judges, including Jägermeister UK Brand Ambassador Florian Beuren and BarLifeUK, will be looking for flair, creativity and fun. For us fun is a key factor in this competition – it was last year, and everyone definitely needs some in their lives right now.

So, to enter, you will need to show off your (at home) cocktail style in a video entry via your personal Instagram account. The post must also include a photo of the finished cocktail, its name and specs.

Your entry must tag and follow the Meister Hunter Instagram page @meisterhunter as well as Jägermeister UK @jagermeisteruk and use hashtag #meisterhunter. You will also need to agree to having your video uploaded to the @meisterhunter Instagram feed.

In summary, come up with a banging Jägermeister drink (containing a min of 35ml), create a video to entertain us, upload before May 1st and then, depending on your personality, watch every other entry worrying that yours was awful or that you are the greatest bartender who ever walked the planet.

The ten finalists will be competing in mid-May, they will each be sent a mystery box of ingredients locked with a code so they can’t peak. One hour before the final is to begin, they finalists will each be sent a code to unlock the box and will have to create a drink using those ingredients.

The final will be streamed live on Social Media (details to follow) so you can all watch, cheer, say ‘you know what I would have done…..’ and most importantly celebrate the creativity of our wonderful industry.

We think this is a fantastic initiative by Jägermeister which we are really looking forward to being involved in, and with the quick turn-around time the prize money will be released when people actually need it.

There will also be 15 x £100 spot prizes awarded by the team for anything they particularly like on any entry. Could be best tie, best joke, best dressed, best way to make a syrup, anything that catches their eye.

We will leave you with a video by Florian to inspire you, good luck, have fun and if you have any questions email meisterhunter@jaegermeister.co.uk
