The Welsh First Minister, Mark Drakeford, has turned back the clock to Rule of Six restrictions.
As of the 26th December new rules come into place, once again targeting the hospitality sector and cinemas (Wales have a real hard-on for cinemas).
The new (old) restrictions are:
- Max of 6 people to meet in pubs, bars, restaurants and cinemas
- 2 metre social distancing in public places
- Hospitality to provide table service only, face masks to be worn and contact tracing details to be collected
- Indoor events limited to 30 people, outdoor to 50
Another kick in the teeth for Welsh hospitality but at least they know where they stand.
