Trailer Happiness 20th Anniversary Celebration Events

Simon Webster, Lyndon Higginson, Andy Ives

Trailer Happiness will always hold a special place in my heart. It’s probably the bar I have visited more times than any other, and it was the venue for BarLifeUK’s first event, which also happens to be the best cocktail competition in history – The 2010 BarLifeUK Cocktail Ashes (which England won, despite being led by a Kiwi. No change there, then.)

Located on a corner in Notting Hill, Trailer has been a landmark for lovers and rum and good times for twenty years. To have survived and thrived for so long, despite the challenges posed by floodwater, a pandemic, various cost of living crises, and Liz Truss, surely warrants some celebration, so the crew have announced a series of events which kick off tonight. From their Facebook page:

“We kick of tomorrow with the lovely team from @threedotsandadash taking over our bar and slinging some lovely tropical libations in partnership with @flordecanarum @flordecana. Friday we have our British Rum Expo featuring a wide array of British distilled rums and joining us on the evening is the @thegreenzonedc Saturday and Sunday you will find us on the Trailer Happiness stand at Uk Rum fest and later on we’ve got @mr.rum_paolo & @williamhintonrum providing us with a taste of Madeira . Sunday is THE DAY!! @lafactoriapr @milkreading @mothermercybar @mannymixesdrinks @francesco_pittala will all be behind the bar serving their special cocktails for the night made with @doorlys.uk @foursquare_rum_distillery @chinola ! 🍹”

For more details, check out the events on the London Cocktail Week website or Trailer’s Facebook page. Probably see you there…
