The Whisky Exchange Open New London Bridge Store

The Whisky Exchange London Bridge: 88 Borough High Street, London, SE1 1LL

London’s bartenders have a new place to nerd out during their lunch break (assuming they get one), as The Whisky Exchange open a new shop, located just outside Borough Market.

Opening officially on February 6th, 2020, the new store will stock over 2,500 spirits and wines, 700 of which will be housed in a 30 meter spirit chandelier, which may be the longest of its kind in the world.

The store’s stock selection will share focus between local products (over 100 British spirits and wines), and larger industry trends, such as world whiskies and bartender-friendly oddities and rare spirits.

Equally interesting to industry folk, the new store will also house a working pot still and education space, making it a perfect spot for brand training sessions and masterclasses.

Dawn Davies MW, Wine & Spirits Buyer for the Whisky Exchange, says of the new store: “We’ll be flying the flag for the growing number of innovative British based distillers and wine-makers, as well as focusing on more specific spirits trends such as world whiskies, from the popular American and Japanese spirits to much more unusual liquids from far flung countries such as Israel and New Zealand. Following a great Christmas for rum sales we’ll have over 200 different rums on the shelves and, for those cutting back on alcohol, there will be an impressive range of low and no alcohol products. My passion for wine shines through in this store, with a hand-picked selection of exquisite wines from some of the world’s best wineries.”
