The Dusties ‘Monsters of Peat’ Tasting Festival – Details and Ticket Give-Away

Competition entry deadline: Midnight, Tuesday 18th May, 2021

The Dusties is a club that essentially uses the power of group purchasing to enable its members to taste rare, unusual, or exclusive whiskies that would otherwise be too expensive for most bar folk to try.

Founded by Dan Bovey – a bartender known to BarLifeUK for winning almost every competition he entered, and for taking his annual vacations at whisky distilleries – the Dusties’ next festival kicks off in June, and as the title ‘Monsters of Peat’ suggests, it is a celebration of independent bottlers and Islay whisky.

Across four days, 10 tasting sessions will sample over 60 whiskies from “the island that Scotland’s peatiest whiskies call home”. Dan has very kindly set aside two tickets for BarLifeUK readers to join one of the headline tasting sessions on Sunday 6th or June, featuring Port Askaig drams.

To enter the prize draw, simply fill out the form at the bottom of this page. However if you would rather not trust to luck, tickets are still available to purchase from The Dusties’ website.
