The Blend Launch World Bartender Day Photography Exhibition

The exhibition of bartender portraits goes live on World Bartender Day – February 24th

Beam Suntory’s trade advocacy programme – The Blend – has commissioned a series of portraits to celebrate World Bartender Day, which occurs on Friday, February 24th, featuring images that aim to depict “the personal moments that five bartenders knew hospitality was where they wanted to thrive and progress”.

The collection was created in collaboration with Jennifer McCord, who is known for photographing music artists such as Ellie Goulding and The 1975, and stars bartenders from around the world, including: Sly Augustin (London); Sarath Nair (Bangalore); Magdalena Karkosz (Munich);  Sarah Proietti (Sydney); Emma Alexander (Denver), all of whom also shared the story of their career as a bartender.

Meimi Sanchez, Senior Brand Advocacy Manager, The Blend Global said: “The Blend by Beam Suntory is our global community trade platform, created to inspire, educate and connect the hospitality industry and we live by our ethos of ‘By Hospitality, For Hospitality. That’s why [NM1] this World Bartender Day we’re creating an exhibition of intimate stories and photographs of the unsung heroes behind the special moments we celebrate in bars.
