Tequila & Mezcal Fest London

Celebrate the Year of Mexico at the only festival dedicated exclusively to showcasing the very best of Mexico in London.

On September 19th & 20th Old Spitalfields Market will have a distinctive agave aroma as Tequila & Mezcal Fest returns to London for its second outing. For those who attended last year this will undoubtedly be a ‘can’t miss’ entry in the diary already and those of you who didn’t get along, well don’t miss out again.T&MF

The event works something like this. A huge variety of Tequila & Mezcal brands will be on hand over the 2 days to sample their lovely liquids to all those agave enthusiasts out there. A series of talks from leading bartenders and industry experts will be taking place including the legend that is Tomas Estes hosting blind tastings.

There will also be the final of the national Herradura Competition that will see some of the countries leading bartenders competing to win a trip to Mexico.

To top it all off there will be plenty of authentic Mexican street food from the likes of Cafe Pacifico, Wahaca, Barrio Bars, Condesca Latin Tapas, Tamal UK and Vera & Co as well as traditional live music. It’s like being in Mexico without the long haul flight.

As it turns out Tequila Fest have got that covered as well, giving everyone who buys a ticket the chance to go in a draw to win a 5 night, 5 star holiday to Mexico in Los Cabos including a whale watching trip.

So you get to drink great booze, eat amazing food, dance your little socks off AND potentially win a trip to Mexico. If that wasn’t enough the lovely folks at Tequila Fest have also very kindly given all you lucky readers of ours a £5 discount on the ticket price by entering BARLIFEUK into the promotional code section of the registration form here meaning tickets are only £10.

An extra bit of love for you trade people is another draw for a hamper full of products from the supporters of the festival (think lots of lovely booze). If you’ve got this far without already registering we’re impressed, you can do it now and we’ll see you there.

The list of talks and events have also been announced and alongside the final of the Herradura Cocktail Competition are talks by the likes of Jesse Estes, Dan Redman-Hubley, Tom Batram, Matthias Lataille and of course Tom Estes. Full list of talks and times can be found here
