In 2015, World Gin Day (WGD) reached some 50 million peoplearound the globe, via interactions on Twitter and Instagram. That’s a seriously impressive number, possibly eclipsing even Simon Difford’s Alexa ranking.
Of course, WGD is not really about social media likes and shares, it is more concerned with getting juniper in people’s mouths, and as such it is a perfect opportunity for both brands and bars to host competitions and events.
