Last night saw the culmination of this years Tales of the Cocktail in the form of the Spirited Awards and we bring you a list of all the winners.
It seems the Artesian have a bit of a hold over these awards, this year scooping up 4 (we hope Alex has booked extra luggage allowance on the way home), but White Lyan showed there are some new kids snapping at their heels too.
It was also good to see some of the less well celebrated cocktail cities such as Edinburgh, Munich and Singapore taking out some wins, although BarLifeUK were surprised not to see any Australian bars making the grade.
America also showed it’s strength in depth with bars from across the country proving to New York they no longer have it all their own way.
Well done in particular to the BarLifeUK friends who won, we will be joining you for a drink soon, and commiserations to those who sat through the whole thing and didn’t get a trophy to show for it. We know the feeling, keep doing what you’re doing and you’ll be back there again soon.
