Another fantastic collaboration to announce, this time seeing seven bartenders creating unique twists on a Sazerac.
Joe Schofield, Anna Sebastian, Max Venning, Maxim Schulte, Jo Last, Erik Lorincz and Chris Moore is a pretty impressive group and with our love of the Sazerac we’d love to taste their resulting drinks.
Starting with a base of Seven Tails XO Brandy and using ingredients found in their homes they have created some fantastic sounding twists. Joe (Schofields Bar) went with Earl Grey and Passionfruit, Max (Three Sheets) concentrated on Raspberries, Jo and Maxim (The Savoy) teamed up with Banana and Champagne, Anna (Artesian) focused on Sauternes and Pear, Erik (Kwant) swapped the Absinthe for fresh Fennel and Chris chose Ground Coffee.
They sound good right?
Each will be bottled at 700ml and sold through Top Cuvee (which also has many other tasty things if you haven’t checked it out). The full set will have a reserve of £600 with 100% of the profits going to charity.
Seven Tails Distillers co-founder Joel Fraser, the brains behind this idea, has chosen the fantastic REFUGE Against Domestic Violence as the beneficiaries of this enterprise. With 1.6m women experiencing domestic violence last year the sad fact that self-isolation has the potential to aggravate the issue.
