There’s more to Mardi Gras than beads and boobs.
There are of course booze and music, the cornerstones of Mardi Gras’ spiritual home – New Orleans.
Shoreditch’s NOLA bar will undoubtedly be London’s best place to celebrate Fat Tuesday, being the only venue outside of North America to win the Seal of the Sazerac for their high quality cocktails of the same name.
Taking place on March 4th, NOLA’s Mardi Gras celebrations will include a eleven-piece brass band specialising in funk and jazz, Classic New Orleans cocktails, and with any luck, beads and a boob or two.
Tickets range in price from £5 – £10, depending on how quickly you pull the trigger and if you are feel like pushing out the VIP boat. Your first cocktail will be free, of course.
