I normally delete product launch press releases because when a brand wants to advertise on BarLifeUK I think they should pay me, instead of paying a PR agency to try and get me to do it for free, however I’ve made an exception today because I think this is pretty neat and it’s raising money for a good cause.
Redbreast have released a special edition of their 12YO single pot still Irish whiskey that comes in a copper shell which can be used as a bird feeder once the bottle has been removed. I think it looks pretty great, and I know a few individuals who would be tickled pink to receive one for Christmas – imagine sipping a dram while watching the birds in your garden settle on the new feeder, and unwrapping your other Christmas present, an air rifle (joke).
For every bottle sold, Redbreast are donating €3 to Birdlife International, a charity dedicated to the preservation of common burbs, which is nice too…
