Many BarLifeUK readers will know Tom Vernon from his days as GM at Manchester’s Socio Rehab, or the Portobello Star in Notting Hill.
Tom says of his new role:

Woodford Reserve New Cask Rye and Woodford Reserve Aged Cask Rye have been created to reflect the recent renaissance that rye whiskey has been enjoying.
Each rye whiskey uses the same recipe and is made from a 100% rye mash, with one matured in fresh, charred oak and the other in a used barrel. The New Cask Rye is golden brown, with cinnamon and delicate mint spice on the nose. The Aged Cask Rye is a light straw, with a nose of grassy rye grain with hints of citrus, vanilla and spice. They are both triple distilled in copper pots and are bottled at 46.2% ABV.
