No service between Kennington and Moorgate on the Northern Line until mid-May
Transport for London, truly the gift that keeps on giving, have closed the Bank branch of the Northern line for 17 weeks, to allow Bank station to be enlarged. Starting today, the line closure means trains will not stop at Elephant and Castle, Borough, Bank, and London Bridge stations.
TFL helpfully suggest customers “seek other routes” to these areas of London, one of which might be the horror that is a replacement bus service running between Oval and Finsbury Circus on WEEKDAYS. Screw you, weekend travelers…
The disruption is due to end in mid-May, which we can obviously take to the bank, given how good the government is at delivering things on time, and within budget.
Bartenders and reps traveling to and around London, you have our sympathies.
