London Beer Week: 13th-19th March, 2017
Lovers of the hop will be pleased to know that next week is London Beer Week (LBW). Throughout the week, different breweries will take a turn in the spotlight, so you can plan a tour based on day, location or brewery.
LBW will also play host to lots of events, including beer and food pairing, masterclasses, and the odd party. Details of all of these events can be found on the LBW website.
The Beer Edit
However, if you would rather base yourself in one spot and bathe in beery suds, then the Beer Edit is the place for you. Taking place within LBW, the Beer Edit will be open for three days (16th-18th), and takes over Oval Space to create a beer village, just off the Hackney Road.
At the Beer Edit you can indulge your latent beer snobbery by exploring micro-craft and exotic brews, or you can just have a pint of cooking lager. There will also be a St. Patrick’s Day bash, and apparently the Beer Edit has a pickle factory, which sounds intriguing.
