Meister Hunter 2023 Entry Deadline: Midnight, July 10th
Jägermeister have brought back their hugely popular cocktail competition for 2023 with entries open now.
We have been lucky enough to judge the Jägermeister Meister Hunter competition for the last few years and it’s one of our absolute favourites. Each year we are blown away by the creativity of the drinks and presentations and last year was no different with Carrie Smith from Edinburgh’s Hoot The Redeemer coming out on top of a very strong field.
This year they have opened up the competition to all of the Jägermeister range, so Jägermeister, Manifest and Cold Brew are all available for the base of your serve.
Meister Hunter Competition Rules
The rules, as always, are nice and simple. Use a minimum of 25ml of your chosen Jägermeister brand and up to five other ingredients (plus garnish) that is it, you can let your creative juices flow.
Once you have nailed your drink simply take a picture or make a short video (the more creative the better) and post it to Instagram using the Hashtag #meisterhunter23 and tag @jagermiesteruk.
Once the entry period is over the Jägermeister team and BarLifeUK will go through all the entries and invite the best to local heats across the country, which are always great fun with drinks flowing once the comp is over.
The Meister Hunter Final and Prize
Getting to the final is a prize in itself, with a 2 day event taking place with trainings which have covered subjects such as coffee, taste, Asian ingredients and chocolate over the last couple of years with the likes of Marian Beke and Ericka Duffy sharing their expertise. Plus, great food and the chance to visit some of the country’s best bars.
If you rise to the top of the final the prizes are immense with the winner taking away £3,000, second place pocketing £1,500 and third £500. Get thinking and get creative and your bank balance could look a whole lot more impressive
