Mauritius Named 2019 Bar Convent Berlin Country of Honour

Bar Convent Berlin: 7-9th October 2019. Show information and tickets here.

Bar Convent Berlin (BCB), which could fairly be described as Europe’s primo drinks trade show, nominate a different ‘country of honour’ every year. Products from that country are given special emphasis and their own location, and rum fans will be pleased to learn that this year Mauritius has been chosen.

Exhibitors from the island state will found in the ‘house of rum’ and will include Grays & Co, L’exil Ltee C/O Rhumerie De Chamarel, Litchquor, House of Lords, the Oxenham Craft Distillery, the Rhumerie Des Mascareignes and the Stirling Export House, and as you would expect, visitors will be afforded the chance to learn about and taste various expressions from these distillers.

Due to the popularity of the show and associated scarcity of tickets, BCB increased its run time from two days to three last year. This continues to be the case in 2019 meaning UK folks should find it easier to attend, however you are advised to book your place sooner rather than later.

The 2019 BCB programme and exhibitor list is still developing, however you can find the most up to date show information on the BCB website.
