Leeds Rum Fest Returns This October

Leeds Rum Fest: October 9th, 2021 – Corn Exchange Leeds

This is the first post-lockdown news story I have written and wondered if it is still necessary to say the event will be held in-person and not virtually, which tells me that things really are getting back to normal. And in just over a month, Leeds folk will be able to celebrate the return to IRL socialising and sipping at Leeds Rum Fest, which returns for a fifth year at the City’s Corn Exchange.

As you would expect, Leeds Rum Fest will feature hundreds of rum expressions to sample, along with masterclasses, education workshops, a bottle shop, food, and music. Tickets cost £30, which includes entry and rum sampling.

Sam Fish, Director of event organiser Rolling Social Events, said of the festival: “Following our first successful in-person event last month with Tequila Patron, we’re proud to have made the shift back to physical events. The Tetley hosted that one for us, and it was so nice to see people together in real life again. Rum Fest is our biggest event yet, and we absolutely cannot wait to be in the Corn Exchange again. We’ve got a great programme of entertainment and food plans set to unfold while guests get to sample a stellar line up of rums – it’s the perfect way to spend an autumn Saturday night.”

You can find more programme information and a link to buy tickets on the Leeds Rum Fest website.
