Jason Atherton’s Social Comp are the only thing expanding quicker than my waistline did over Christmas and, like me, are adding another notch to their belt.

New Social Company Venture
The Social Company is currently looking for staff for an exciting new venture, launching in March 2016. The new venue is situated in the iconic Turnmills building in Farringdon, and comprises an 80-seat ground-floor restaurant called Sosharu, and a distinct, intimate cocktail bar called Seven Tales, which will be housed in the basement.
Geoff Robinson, formerly of Maverick Drinks, Happiness Forgets and ECC will be running the bar programs for both. He is currently looking for a final few members to fill out an already exciting bar team; specifically, there are both cocktail server and barback positions available.
Ideal candidates for both positions will have a strong work ethic, good communication and interpersonal skills and a keen interest in food and drink. Servers will ideally have front-of-house hospitality experience, as well as natural charisma and an intuitive hospitality instinct.
Both positions are full-time and offer competitive salaries. Both the restaurant and bar will be open for lunch and close at midnight. This is a great opportunity for those interested in learning about cocktails and spirits or making first steps into professional bartending.
