This year Bacardi Brown Forman Brands have teamed up with some of the UK’s leading industry lights to take a series of workshops across the UK.
Inspired by Charles H Baker’s travel books that doubled as a ‘drink your way around the world’ guide, Bacardi Brown Forman Brands (BBFB) have launched their Jigger Beaker Glass tour. The tour will visit cities across the UK in the coming year and give the industry who attend a series of workshops and seminars to educate and inspire bartenders at all levels of their career.
The tour kicked off a couple months ago with The Edgbaston in Birmingham welcoming the BBFB team and London Cocktail Club’s JJ Goodman. That was followed up in Manchester last month with the founders of Trash Tiki and pioneers of the sustainable bar movement, Iain Griffiths and Kelsey Ramage.
This month, on Monday 5th June, Leeds will be invaded by Andy Mil, Elliot Ball and Olly Brading of Cocktail Trading Company.
Each city will see their experts cover different areas within the three pillars of Jigger, Beaker, Glass education:
Jigger – A skills based session
Beaker – An innovation based session
Glass – A drinks based session
All sessions kick off at midday with lunch and will be finished by 4pm. There will of course be a few drinks to hand as well.
