Taking place from the 1st to the 8th of February, Peruvian restaurants in London have joined forces to run a week devoted to the Pisco Sour, Peru’s signature drink.
Seven venues are taking part, and you can pick up a wristband at any of them, which will entitle you to £5 Pisco Sours all week. The participating restaurants will be serving the classic version of the cocktail, as well as their own twists on the drink.

The event has been organised by the Peru Trade and Investing Office in order to promote Peru’s culture through gastronomy. So it’s probably worth ordering a bit to eat with your drink.
Rumour has it that man of the hour, Benedict Cumberbatch is a big fan of the Pisco Sour, so you never know, you might get to ask him what the hell went wrong with the Hounds of the Baskervilles episode of Sherlock…
