Hudson Whiskey is launching a competition to see who can come up with the best Hudson cocktail with plenty of goodies up for grabs.
We like American Whiskey, we like Hudson (the brand at least) and we like trying new creations, so getting involved with this competition was a no brainer. We will be joining UK Brand Ambassador Stuart Hudson and well as a special guest or two on the judging panels across the country.
During April we will be visiting Edinburgh, Manchester & Bristol (dates below) to not only see what the competitors have created but also for a masterclass and tasting of the range.
The rules for the competition are very pleasingly simple. Create a cocktail using one of the Hudson Whiskey range, don’t take any longer than 5 minutes to present it and don’t be messy when doing so.
That’s it. That is all your restrictions. For those of you who like to spent hours and days making tinctures, bitters, shrubs, cordials, infusions and such then you can go mad professor crazy. Those of you who like to grow your garnish on the side of a Tibetan hillside for 2 weeks before attaching it to the drink with magic and hummingbird spit, be our guests. For those of you who like to add four ingredients to a glass and stir you are more than welcome.
This is a competition for everyone and it is this fact that has us very excited about the level of drinks we are no doubt going to be trying. Up for grabs is a bunch of Hudson stuff and massive bragging rights over your peers and everyone gets to try the full Hudson range before hand which is a pretty impressive bonus.
Date wise this is what you are looking at (all sessions from 12:00 – 4:00):
Edinburgh – Panda & Sons – 1st April
Manchester – Cane & Grain – 8th April
Bristol – Red Light – 22nd April
