This year the Gin Mare Mediterranean Inspirations competition is running a unique live update table.
The Gin Mare Mediterranean Inspirations comp is running back to back heats and a final at the Hoxton Hotel in Shoreditch. Over three days the four judges will watch 30 presentations and try 90 drinks.
In a twist from the norm all the competitors from around the UK will be brought together over 3 days to present their drinks to the same 4 judges. There will be no top two from each day, instead there will be a continuously updated ‘Top Six’ list.
The top six will, on Friday, battle it out for the chance to represent the UK at the Global Final in Ibiza. The overall winner will be taking home €4,500 plus extra goodies.
After two days and 17 competitors we have a current top six. With one heat left anything can happen but as we stand the top six heading into Friday’s final are (in order):

- Nathan Shearer, Callooh Callay
- Sam Kirk, Peg & Patriot
- Frederick Johnson, Hawksmoor
- Adam Binnersley, Mojo
