Geranium Premium Dry Gin is here
The good folks at Hammer & Son Ltd are now distributing Geranium Premium Dry Gin through Coe Vintners in the UK. It was originally launched in September 2009 in Denmark and is now widely available in the UK.
As the name would suggest Henrik Hammer and his father decided to make their gin with a particular type of Geranium which they felt would blend perfectly with Juniper. The aim was to create a gin which was both dry and aromatic at the same time so it would blend perfectly in both dry and sweet mixers.
A London Dry Gin style has been achieved using 10 fresh and dried botanicals which are first matured for 48 hours before being distilled in a copper pot which is over 100 years old.
