Funkin Innovation Champion Competition Launches

Funkin launch a competition which gives one bartender the opportunity to work part-time with Funkin for a year to help their innovation team – and get paid.

In 2014 Funkin launched a nationwide campaign to recruit an Innovation Champion to help them understand what the bar industry needs and help develop those products. Dan Redman-Hubley (or Double Barrel Angus) took out the top spot and for the last 18 months has been working with the Funkin team.INNOVATION-LOGO1

It is now time for some fresh blood and the competition is back to find the next Innovation Champion to take over from Dan and help develop the extensive and hugely well regarded Funkin product range.

Funkin are looking for bartenders who believe they have the next new product idea for the on-trade and are asking the industry’s rising stars to submit their idea. Alongside the idea you are being asked to come up with a Funkin cocktail that reflects the brands innovative approach, using any product from the Funkin Pro range.

Once the entries have all been received the most impressive will be picked by the Funkin team and will be invited to compete for the title of Innovation Champion at Funkin headquarters in Camden this September.

The eventual winner will work with Funkin on a paid, part-time freelance basis for one year contributing to its innovation pipeline and get involved with the new and exciting projects as the company continues to grow and lead the way in product development.

This competition is ideal for any bartender with a creative flair who is full of ideas as well as anyone who sees their future working with brands and wants to get a first foot on the ladder.

Entries will close on 24th August so get yourself involved by filling in the form below.
