Free Reopening Checklist App Launched

The British Beer & Pub Association have launched a free app to help pubs and bars reopen safely.

The British Beer & Pub Association (BBPA) have teamed up with SafetyCulture and their existing app – iAuditor. The app provides a checklist which integrates with the latest official government guidelines.

Also launched today by Visit Britain is ‘We’re Good to Go’ which is an industry standard to ‘reassure the public your business adheres to the Government and public health guidance’. You’ll need to apply to get this standard for your business (you’ll probably get a horrible sticker for your door) and using app will apparently help show them you know what you’re doing. Check out the Visit Britain website for more details and to start the application process, it is one of those things that a certain demographic of customers will probably be keeping an eye out for.

Anyway, back to the app. We gave it a quick test run and it is, as advertised, easy to use and appears to do exactly what is says on the tin. Anything to make this ridiculously short turn-around time easier gets a tick from us.

You can get the checklist on your computer by clicking on this here link or you can find iAuditor in your app store. Word of warning, finding the right checklist on the app is fucking infuriating so search for ‘pubs operational’. I lost 10 minutes of my life so you didn’t have to.
