That’s right, it’s here. The competition you’ve been waiting for, it’s time to get your Blue on.
BarLifeUK has joined forces with El Dorado Rum to channel the 80’s revival and Jacob Briars to give you the chance to invent the next generation of Blue Drinks.
We know they’re cool, we know they’re hard and we definitely know they’re clever – Blue Drinks are the future.
You can’t stifle Blue so the rules are as simple as they get. The drink has to contain a minimum of 30ml of El Dorado 3 year old and be Blue.
Bonus points will be given for any 80’s inspired showmanship, outfits or singing.
The competition will be taking place at Boutique Bar Show on Wednesday 19th September so entries have to be in by end of play Friday 14th September.
Up for grabs is a bottle of El Dorado 21 year old (it comes in a blue box – see what we’ve done there?) and massive bragging rights. Your cocktail will also find itself on the cocktail menus of some of the world’s best bars.*
Now put that hairspray down, don your denim jacket and get your entries in below. The top 8 will be announced on Saturday 15th September and will go head to head on the competition stage at Boutique Bar Show.
