Diageo’s World Class Studios return, with a focus on learning and community over competition.
The roadshow of creativity and inspiration that is the World Class Studios will hit the road again this Summer, making stops in Leeds, Edinburgh, and London, beginning next month. This year the sessions aren’t linked to a specific World Class competition, instead community is very much the theme – although attending the sessions will of course help anyone who enters the World Class Competition down the track.
Each studio session is open to all levels and abilities, and will consist of a day of interactive education, hands-on techniques and industry insights from the World Class ambassador team and a roster of highly respected industry figures, covering these subjects:
- Think yourself a No&Lo know it all? Let us guide you through the next generation of alcohol-free spirits and better your understanding of conscious consumption. Step up, test your new knowledge, and win prizes in our ‘Higher OR Lower’ gameshow.
- Join us on a journey through the wonderful world of bespoke ingredients worthy of the worlds most celebrated gin, Tanqueray! Create your own super tasty syrups and beautifully balanced cordials at the ‘Tanqueray Prep Pick’n’Mix’.
- See the theory in action as an experienced competitor takes the stage to present a World Class Chase cocktail. Judged by seasoned industry professionals who will deliver deep dive feedback to prepare our future competitors (YOU!) with superior insights for the World Class journey ahead.
- Learn the art of storytelling, debunk your risky Whisky pre-conceptions, and enjoy indulgent post meal food pairings with our resident experts. Contemporary whisky thinking at its finest with The Singleton.
- To cap it off, Johnnie Walker Blue Label invites a panel of the industry’s best and brightest to discuss diversity, inclusion, sustainability, and the future of the Whisky Category all through the lens of Luxury.
