Cocchi Appoint Sonia Elia To Newly-Created Ambassadorial Role

Sonia Elia joins Cocchi as brand advocacy manager this month

Italian aromatised wine brand, Cocchi, announced this week the appointment of Sonia Elia as brand advocacy manager. This newly-created ambassadorial role will see Elia based in London and responsible for growing trade understanding of vermouth and the wider aperitif category in the UK  and Europe, by way of training, tastings, and other educational endevours.

Hailing originally from Sicily, Sonia  Elia began her hospitality career in 2010 at Tutton’s Brasserie in Covent Garden, before holding prominent positions at well-known London restaurants and bars including Sartoria, Sheraton Park Lane, and Hilton Park Lane. After a short break in the Balearic Islands, Sonia returned to London in 2017 where she started a sales and ambassadorial role at Global Brands looking after Franklin & Sons’ premium soda range.
