Jack Daniel’s, Woodford Reserve, Chambord, and Fords Gin on show during London Cocktail Week
As you probably know by now, London Cocktail Week is actually London Cocktail Month this year, quite an achievement given the organisers are battling the impact of coronavirus and a government that seems hell-bent on screwing the hospitality industry. Undeterred, brands and bars are putting on four weeks of events in celebration of the cocktail, and Brown Forman UK have released details of their contribution to this year’s festival.
London Shuffle Club
Running for the full month, the London Shuffle Club pop-up in Shoreditch features Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, Woodford Reserve Kentucky Bourbon, Chambord, and the newest member of the Brown-Forman family – Fords Gin. Specially-created drinks will be available from an Airstream bar that services a heated terrace, with whiskey tastings held in a hidden bar, and pizza available to keep energy levels topped-up. Walk-in attendance is possible, but booking ahead is recommended due to ‘rule of six’ limitations.
The London Shuffle Club will host trade nights every Sunday from 4th – 25th October by invitation only, so drop sly hints to your local B-F rep. These trade sessions will run from 5-9pm, and guests will be treated to free shuffleboard plus drinks.

Woodford Reserve and Fords Gin Exploration Sessions
Woodford Reserve UK Brand Ambassador, Joseph Hall, will be hosting ‘Spectacle For The Senses’ in the Punch Room at the London Edition Hotel (28th and 29th October, 6.30 – 8pm). These sessions will teach guests some tricks for examining each of Woodford Reserve’s key flavour areas, using some surprising aroma tools. Spectacle for the Senses will also provide a twist on the Old Fashioned cocktail.
Each ticket includes:
- A welcome Old Fashioned
- Sample of Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon
- Five samples of Old Fashioned twists
