Bristol Facebook Group Helps Local Bars & Breweries

A pop-up shop has been opened in Bristol to support the cities independent breweries and venues hit by the hospitality lockdown.

The Bristol Association of Restaurants, Bars and Independent Establishments (thankfully shortened to BARBIE) are selling beer boxes, cocktail kits, ready made cocktails, cocktail boxes, magic boxes, engraved beer growlers and lots more from the space.

The ‘Crazy Beer Box’

The pop-up is at The Arcade in the middle of Broadmead (Bristol’s shopping centre), and the BARBIE team would like to thank www.365bristol.com and MAPP who run and own The Arcade for donating a huge unit free of charge to help Bristol’s independent businesses.

Some of the breweries represented: Fierce and Noble, Wiper and True, Lost and Grounded, Tapestry, Moor Beer, Arbor Ales, Yonder, Good Chemistry, Ganley and Naish, Left Handed Giant and more.

Some of the venues represented  Flipside Cocktail Club, Brozen, The Volunteer Tavern, The Crown, Beerd, Taste of Napoli, Cloak and Dagger, Smoke and Mirrors, Crofters Rights and many more.

This is a fantastic initiative and if you know anyone living in Bristol let them know about the pop-up so they can head down and support the cities local breweries and bars. Huge congratulations to Brendan Murphy, Andy Dodd and the rest of the BARBIE team for their efforts in getting this up and running.
