The Boutique Bar Show, September 24th & 25th, has an exciting new venue and some great looking seminars alongside the usual high quality brands.
Over the last few years Boutique Bar Show has well and truly established itself as a key date in any serious bartenders diary. The London event is taking place next month in the basement block of Victoria House, a venue which is bound to breath new energy into the event.
One of the biggest attractions of the Boutique Bar Show is its always superb line up of seminars and this year is certainly no exception. However in line with the new venue the show has a new take on the traditional seminar.
This year Boutique is teaming up with a series of London’s leading bars to produce interactive and immersive sessions on a variety of exciting topics. Here are a few of the session confirmed so far, more will be announced over the coming weeks and of course your always caring BarLifeUK will be bringing you the details as they come in.
Breakfast Drinks To Forty Winks with the Hawksmoor Team
Sign up and sink in to enjoy pre and post prandials (that’s a late breakfast to you and me) and perhaps a bridging drink or two with the highly regarded Hawksmoor Bar Team. A little theatre and some great drinks, this will be an experience not to forget.
The Bartenders Table of Wellbeing
Hosted by Opium Bar visitors can participate in a journey of eastern mysticism and cocktail creation to offer your customers restorative and healing libations.
Classic Cocktails with The Ritz
Enjoy the classic Manhattan with an interactive workshop examining the history, bourbon and vermouth that makes this drink the benchmark of any bar.
Exhibitors
The exhibitors always bring something new and exciting to the show and a quick look at this years list confirms that will be happening again. However it is the Whisk(e)y offerings that caught our eye. A great selection from all over the world will be available for you to sample whilst you chat to the distributors.
Paul John Single Malt Whisky from India
Mackmyra Bruks from Sweden
Bains Whisky from South Africa
Sullivans Cove Double Cask Whisky from Australia
Kavalan Single Malt Whisky from Taiwan
Balcones Texas Single Malt Whisky from America
Teeling Whisky from Ireland
Compass Box Whiskies from Scotland
Nikka Whisky from Japan
If for some reason Whisk(e)y isn’t your thing then there is also a beer focus with The Craft Distillers Village hosted by the newly founded Craft Distillers Alliance which will help you discover artisan products from around the world.
And if you don’t like whisk(e)y or beer then you have more to worry about than what you will be seeing at the show (for the record there is a lot more than beer and whisky at the show – Ed).
Keep an eye on BarLifeUK in the coming weeks to find out all about the other sessions and exhibitors at the show plus a competition or two. In the meantime get yourself over to the Boutique Bar Show website and register for your free ticket.
