Another Round Campaign Provides £400 Emergency Grants To Hospitality Workers

The Drinks Trust have announced their latest initiative to support those in the hospitality industry with financial troubles.

Whilst some sites have opened up again and others opening on May 17th in both cases they are likely to have restricted capacity and therefore restricted hours available leading to many staying on furlough. On top of that many in our industry will be without work after 10,000 licenced premises closed permanently in 2020 (a 175% increase on 2019) with untold more going since the start of the year, resulting in at least 660,000 job losses.

Throughout the pandemic The Drinks Trust has been providing financial support to those in our industry who need help and their latest campaign, Another Round, continues this assistance.

The Drinks Trust’s Another Round Fund of £125,000 will be distributed in emergency grants of £400 per person, and it may be extended based on uptake. The emergency grants campaign is live today and applicants will be assessed based on their financial circumstances. Those who are facing significant hardship will be awarded a £400 emergency grant.
