Amathus Drinks want to send you and a friend to Madrid, via the Boutique Bar Show in London, as part of their ‘Spice in the City’ cocktail competition.
The contest looks to celebrate Flor de Caña’s position as the world’s most awarded rum, and its delicate spice notes. The creators of the 21 most impressive recipes will be invited to compete in the competition final at the Boutique Bar Show in London on Wednesday 22nd September.
First prize: A weekend for two in Madrid
Second prize: Luxury dinner for two in London
Third prize: An exquisite Flor de Caña Centenario Pack
In addition to the above, the top three runners-up will also receive prizes.
The Spice in the City competition is open to all, and any style is welcomed.
Celebrating over 115 years of rum production, family-owned Flor de Caña is the most-awarded rum in the world. Flor de Caña premium and super premium rums are the only rums in the world that are “slow-aged,” guaranteeing each age stated on the bottle is the actual age of the rum.
Slow-aged also describes the all-natural ageing process which does not use additives to accelerate the process. Flor de Caña rums are distilled and handcrafted from estate-grown sugar cane at Flor de Caña’s fully self-sustaining facility in Chichigalpa, Nicaragua.
The only rum produced in Nicaragua and the most popular in all of Central America, Flor de Caña offers a diverse selection of aged products, including 4 year old White and Gold; 5 year old; 7 year old; 12 year old; and 18 year old.
They may be enjoyed neat, on the rocks or in a variety of mixed cocktails.
