As drink spiking incidences increase, CPL Learning offer a free awareness course for hospitality staff
In case you hadn’t noticed, the world’s population of arseholes didn’t evaporate during lockdown. In fact it would seem they are either multiplying, or becoming more brazen. A case in point would be the increase in drink spiking incidents occurring across post-lockdown UK.
This is a horrifying practice that often happens in bars, pubs, and nightclubs, and in an effort to help hospitality staff address the problem, CPL Learning have created a free drink spiking awareness course, which has been endorsed by the Institute of Hospitality is free and takes about 20 minutes to complete.
The CPL Drink Spiking Awareness Course will help staff:
- Spot symptoms that a person has been spiked and promptly get help.
- Reduce the risk of spiking through increased awareness.
- Safely help a person who has been spiked by the relevant course of action.
- Remove a drink that you have visibly seen being spiked and contact the relevant authorities.
Twenty minutes spent doing something that could prevent a guest having the worst possible experience, or even save a life. You can get full details and register to take the course here:
