We take some heart from the fact that three of the awards the UK didn’t win have ‘American’ in the title, and are thus closed to our fair Isle!

Yes but you forgot Simon Difford winning “best non book drinks writing” too.

The UK did win 5 awards last year too…plus Simon Ford… so people talk about a good year for thr UK but we won less % than last year…
