That Boutique-y Gin Company to increase bottle size from 50cl to 70cl yet retain existing price

That Boutique-y Gin Company (TBGC) is celebrating a successful first two years in business by increasing the bottle size of its ten core brands from 50cl to 70cl, with no increase in price.

The bottle resize covers TBGC’s most popular varieties, and includes: Moonshot, Cherry, Spit-Roasted Pineapple, Yuzu, Rhubarb Triangle, Strawberry Balsamico, Cucamelon, Neroli, Finger Lime, and Chocolate Orange.

No changes have been made to the gin recipes, other than an increase in ABV for some of the brands to bring them in line with the rest of the range, at 46%*

The increase in bottle size and associated hike in value to customers has been made possible by growth in TBGC sales, which has improved production economies of scale. Atom Brands MD Ben Ellefsen explains:

We’re now at the stage where we’re able to pass these efficiencies on to our customers by moving to a larger pack size across our core range with no increase in price and no change in the award-winning liquid other than creating consistency across the range by standardising the ABVs.”

The new larger bottles, which represent a 40% increase in volume, are available across Europe, and can be purchased in the UK via Maverick Drinks.

*Changes to TBGC band ABVs
Spit-Roasted Pineapple Gin: Previous ABV 40.1% / New ABV 46%
Cherry Gin: Previous ABV 42.6% / New ABV 46%
Strawberry Balsamico: Previous ABV 40.1% / New ABV 46%
Moonshot Gin: Previous ABV 46.6% / New ABV 46%
