Braemble is a liqueur made from blackberries, and London Dry Gin. Created by Mike Aikman (Bramble, Edinburgh), Jason Scott (Bramble, Edinburgh), and Craig Harper (Formerly of Tonic, Edinburgh), it is one of those products that looks tasty before it has even left the bottle.
Made by gently reducing blackberries to a dark, sweet essence, which is then combined with London Dry Gin, the founders describe Braemble thus:
“The nose – Striking hedgerow blackberry mingled with juniper and dark stone fruit.
The palate – Earthy wild blackberry merges into classic fresh juniper gin… Hints of malty sweetness and fresh citrus. Complex and fuity.
The finish – Initiall rich autumnal fruit bursts from the glass enhanced by classic juniper and citrus. A robust and warming taste of late Summer bounty.”

40ml Laphroaig 10 YO
12.5ml Braemble gin Liqueur
12.5ml Noilly Prat Dry
Dash of Angostura Bitters
In a mixing glass, stir ingredients over cubed ice until well chilled and slightly diluted. Double strain into a Champagne saucer, and garnish with a lemon twist.
