Masters of the Famous Blend Master Class come to Leeds and Bristol

Calling all spirits geeks and whisky enthusiasts…

You will be pleased to hear that The Famous Grouse is rolling out its Masters of the Famous Blend Master Class to Leeds and Bristol in the month of September.

The senior team behind the UK’s best selling whisky will be on hand at each event, to provide an insight into the art of blending and will cover tasting the entire family range with the new Master Blender Kirsteen Campbell, a Q&A session about all things maturation with Master of Wood Stuart MacPherson, an insight into the family history with Global Brand Ambassador, Lucy Whitehall and a cocktail-making demo with Mixxit’s David Miles.

This is a great opportunity to spend a few hours in the company of some masters of their craft.

It’s not often you will find a master blender and master of wood away from their workshop at the same time, and anyone wanting to increase their knowledge of both distillation, blending and maturation will learn a great deal at the session.

Not only will this immersive program boost your understanding of The Famous Grouse, and whisky production in general, it will also help a great deal with your cocktail creation efforts, whether that be for your bar’s menu, or cocktail competitions you wish to enter.

And on that note, the David Miles’ brain will be yours to pick during the demonstration part of the session – there is a lot of classic and contemporary drinks knowledge there to be tapped.
