Scientists Create Moving Edible Cocktail Garnishes

Scientists at M.I.T have taken time off from designing robots that will inevitably conquer mankind to create moving, edible, cocktail garnishes.

Using the Marangoni effect, little gelatin boats can be made to zip around atop a cocktail, powered by differing ABVs and surface tension.

This may sound lame, but in practice the garnishes do look quite fetching. Watch the video below from Popular Science for a full explanation and demonstration.
