Snow Leopard Vodka joins Maxxium UK

In Brand News

The latest addition to the Maxxium UK portfolio comes in the form of a vodka which raises money to protect the endangered snow leopard.

Launched in 2006 by founder Stephen Sparrow, Snow Leopard vodka is a luxury brand made from the spelt grain which helps give the spirit it’s distinctive a nutty flavour. The vodka is produced in the Polmos Lublin distillery in Poland through a six-stage distillation process.

Stephen is a keen conservationist who wanted to help fund conservation of the snow leopard (with less than 5,000 remaining in the wild). To this end the brand donates 15% of all of its profits to the Snow Leopard Trust resulting in more than $70,000 being raised since the brands conception.

With this in mind Stephen was unsurprisingly delighted of the deal with Maxxium UK: ‘I am thrilled that Snow Leopard vodka has joined Edrington and will be distributed by Maxxium in the UK. We’ve come a long way in seven years and having these world class organisations behind the brand now will provide the momentum for Snow Leopard vodka to grow and play an instrumental part in the snow leopard’s survival in the wild.’

Their will undoubtedly be lots of activity in the coming months for the brand, however at BarLifeUK we like to help out whenever we can so we are giving Maxxium UK this marketing gem to help them get started – ‘Drink vodka. Save a snow leopard’. You saw it here first.
