The 2011 Chambord Rendezvous will take place on September 13th at One Mayfair…

A rather sultry-looking Edith Bowman for your viewing pleasure

…with Edith Bowman confirmed as celebrity DJ, who, alongside comedian Russell Kane, will be entertaining guests as host for the night.

The Chambord Rendezvous is the culmination of a search to find talented bartenders and chefs from across the UK who have entered their best creations in the Chambord Rendezvous competition.  The judging panel includes Simon Difford, Andy Pearson, Michael Butt and Alex Turner from the Bacardi Brown Forman Training Team.

The winners will be announced on the night, receiving a luxury trip to Paris and the Loire Valley, to see where the iconic black raspberry liqueur is carefully crafted.

Charlotte Ashburner, Chambord Senior Brand Manager said: “Following the success of last year’s event, we were determined to make Chambord Rendezvous 2011 bigger and better than before. One Mayfair is a fantastic venue and with Edith Bowman on the decks and Russell Kane hosting the event, we have no doubt that the evening will be a night to remember.

The Chambord Rendezvous is open to everyone from the UK drinks industry to register for the guest list, and is held as an annual ‘thank you’ for all their support.

“Chambord is an incredibly versatile liqueur – as well as being a great cocktail ingredient, we know chefs love using it in their recipes too.  The Chambord Rendezvous competition gives everyone in the drinks and hospitality industry the chance to show us just how creative they can be.”
