Finlandia Unveil New Melting Ice Bottle

Finlandia hosted a party at London’s Altitude 360 this week, introducing its new ‘melting ice’ bottle to the trade.

Reflecting the brand’s Nordic roots and the use of glacial water in its production, the packaging is sculpted to resemble a cylinder of melting ice and features a redesigned label.

The bottle sits well in the hand and will attract the eye when standing on the back bar.

Drinks consultancy Soulshakers hosted a bar at the launch party, which offered some ‘redesigned classics’ including a Finlandia Martini Redesigned, Finlandia Sour Redesigned and Finlandia Cosmo Redesigned – the latter of which were very good and as a result BarLifeUK had a few too many.

Finlandia’s Brand Manager, Chris White, says of the bottle: “Ice has always been at the forefront of the brand’s design, however we believe the new bottle makes this an even stronger element, improving visibility and reflecting the crystal clarity of the Finlandia it holds, whilst being true to our origins.”

“We are delighted with the new design and hope the new Finlandia packaging will help create new fans and reacquaint old ones, in turn maximising profit opportunities for bartenders and licensees.”

  • 4cl Finlandia Lime
  • 1 cm Fresh Ginger
  • 1 dash Fresh Lime Juice
  • 3 drops Tabasco
  • 2 dash  Worcester sauce
  • 8cl Tomato Juice
  • Salt & Pepper

Glass:  On the Rocks, Method:  Muddle & Stir, Garnish: Cucumber Stick

  • 1cl  Simple Syrup
  • 4cl  Grapefruit Juice
