Cocktails Under the Microscope (Literally)

Ahhh. It looks like a butterfly.

Ever wondered what cocktails look like under a microscope? No, neither had we until we stumbled upon this article on www.geekologie.com.

Made by placing a tiny drop of liquid onto a glass slide and allowing it to dry over several weeks, the remaining crystals are photographed through a microscope.

The results are surprisingly beautiful; Pina Colada is our favourite. Mmmm Pina Colada.
